I finished cutting and folding paper this morning. Such a relief to be done with that. It took forever! I have greater sympathy for the monks who made those amazing illuminated codices. Although they had the much rougher job, for sure. I think I read once that a single page could take up to a year.I also got all the boards cut and holes drilled for the coptic bound books that I'm making. The work was quick and easy, thanks again to friends bandsaw and drillpress. They make my life so easy! Next up- glue and lots of it! I've got bookcloth to make, and after that, covers to put together!
