"Natural Flavors was born out of my MFA thesis. In food, natural flavors is an ingredient that can be anything: animal, vegetable or mineral; natural or synthetic. It is basically whatever you want it to be, which I find pretty creepy if I have to eat it, but when translated into art it evokes the imagination of the creator and viewer. Basically Natural Flavors is a mishmash of anything I want to make at the moment. I don't want to be held down by having a specific genre or item; I want to have the freedom to make whatever I'm excited about at the moment and keep a sense of excitement in the work. Since it all comes from my aesthetic it visually makes sense together.
My mantra is about living a fun, happy and creative lifestyle and I strive to let that shine in my work and hopefully seep into the lives of others."
