This has been an interesting week for me. I started back working full-time as a nanny on Tuesday. This is a good thing, as I had forgotten how wonderful a child's laugh is. I had also forgotten how frustrating fighting amongst siblings are. Especially about what I consider unimportant things, which is what the bulk of the fighting is about. Also, I've been house-sitting for my parents while they're on vacation, so there's two very people-deprived cats that want my attention the instant I walk in the door. There's one trying to climb into my lap as I write this. But all this has meant very little time to make journals. Hopefully I'll get a couple bound tonight.
But that's not what this post is about. I wanted to start a weekly post about various resources that are availble, either online or locally. They may be business, design, or bookbinding related, but whatever they are, I hope you find them helpful!
Today's is from the people over at Design*Sponge. They're basically a museum of trends, interesting design ideas, and diy projects for the home. Very enjoyable reading material. In addition to the design part of their website, they also have a section called biz ladies. I mentioned them the other day on facebook, but I wanted to mention them here as well!
Biz Ladies is a collection of resources for small business owners. There's a basic top 10 mistakes as well as the more-in-depth posts on pricing and taxes. Each post is clear and informative, and written in a very engaging way. So whether you're a one person show like me or have several employees, this is a site that shouldn't be missed out on! Go check it out! I'm off to read and learn some more.
(In addition to be a great resource, biz ladies has got a great logo! Rosie is the best!)
