Before I get into this Etsy Tuesday's feature, I wanted to show you what I just finished last Thursday! It's a custom photo album for a couple who just got married in July. It was a blast to design-the couple's colors were black, jade and sapphire with some peacock feathers thrown in for good measure. I found a glorious blue silk for the cover, and used a deep green for the end pages. As you can see, it turned out well! However, I did a style of binding that I don't enjoy doing as it's so finicky. It involves folding small tabs for each page and then sewing through the tabs. The last time I did this, I promised myself that I'd never do it again. Now, I'm saying it out loud, to the internet at large. Never again.
Sewing is the perfect outlet for my pent-up creativity, and nap time makes it all possible! All of my items are handmade with love from my tiny two-person kitchen table. Each style is named after someone close to my heart and inspired my the wonderfully style-savvy moms and children all around me. Every time a new item is hot off the sewing machine, I get a warm sense of pride and accomplishment. They always say,"Do what you love" and here I am, doing it to the fullest.
Thanks for making wonderful and adorable clothes Jamie, and the best of luck to you!
